GC's first ponytail

It didn't last long for she promptly pulled it out, but it sure was cute. Having a girl is so fun because I get to dress her up and fix her hair. GC is getting closer to walking and even knows a few words: daddy, ball, baby (bahbah), uh oh, and what's that (sat).

Three:
A trying age!

My kids mean everything to me and yet one in particular is driving me crazy. We did not have the terrible two's around here, but three deserves a name. It is hard to be the oldest I guess. Once the world revolved around you and then life was rudely interrupted by a sibling. You are constantly being told to "share" and "don't touch your sister." To counterbalance this new life you must exert your authority and shout "NO!" and "MINE!" I'm not sure how to handle this new stage. Any suggestions on how to make three a great age instead of a constant battle?

DV is not a baby anymore. I just can't believe how fast kids grow up. He LOVES the movie Cars. He also likes to watch "Buzz and Woody" and Finding Nemo. He learned a new word from Finding Nemo--disgusting. Which he used to describe some food I made the other night. Trying to hold back my laugh, I explained that saying food is disgusting is not polite and that he shouldn't tell anyone that their food is disgusting. Daddy made him say sorry to mommy.

Happy Halloween!

I just love this picture! GC is getting so big. She crawls and stands and babbles and maybe even says dada and knows what she's saying. What a delightful little girl she is!

GC is 8 months old and although she is not crawling or attempting to, she rolls everywhere she goes. She is a happy little baby.

DV had a birthday recently. He of course got more cars. He loves birthdays. Today I heard him singing "happy birthday to me." How CUTE!!

I grew my very own zucchini!! In fact, I grew two and more are on the way. I'm so excited to eat something that I grew.
